Even the most inconsequential of enemies, like the sewer rat, is a battle for your life. I've only played one Larian game, and that was Divinity Original Sin 2. Armored Core has a very long history of just being a good and challenging series. If you are looking for something a little more in line with what you have played previously, try the original Deus Ex.Īrmored Core is not a role-playing franchise. I would also recommend looking at Mount and Blade Warband.Įdit: Kenshi is also an excellent rpg. If you can't stand fallout 1 or 2, try new vegas I guess. I would suggest either TES2: daggerfall or one of the classic fallout games (1 or 2) if you are looking for good rpgs. Which one would you recommend for someone who prefers the medieval world over the futuristic one and has enjoyed the games I mentioned? Thanks for the help! 5e sucks balls as a system so I would suggest against getting Baldur's Gate 3 on that premise alone. Unfortunately, I can only invest time and money into one of these games. I loved the medieval setting in Elden Ring, and while I've never played any D&D games before, I'm open to trying it. I've played RPGs like The Witcher 3, Mass Effect 1, Cyberpunk 2077, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring, and I've also dabbled in CRPGs like Tyranny and Disco Elysium.
